This is a remarkable album in every respect. The concept is genius, flawlessly executed, with a spirit and love that permeates each track. There is an aura of wonder that builds as the CD progresses, and it speaks to everyone who has the privilege of hearing it. Mothers, children, grandparents; everyone can relate to several tracks on this album. I cannot say enough about this work. It is a gift to the world. Don’t miss it. I will be gifting it to all my patients and colleagues to give to expectant mothers and to those who love them.

Labor of Love is a beautiful testament to motherhood, love and family. It calls forth a range of emotions present, but often hidden, in most of us. The joy in the music is palpable, and it leaves one with the sense that “All will be right in the world”!
I am thrilled to have been one tiny piece in the foundation of the Labor of Love project. It is amazing!

Listened to Labor of Love over and over again and Scarlett has me in awe! This is one amazing album…straight from the heart. It reaches out to everyone and you can simply feel the lyrics, the music and Scarlett’s amazing voice touch your soul. ‘4th of July’ goosebumps…so beautiful! ‘I get it now’, 4 simple words creating such a powerful message. ‘Inside’ is truly stunning, such an inspirational song. And then ‘Fierce mama’, ‘Never knew love’ & ‘No walls’ are just more masterpieces to add to this piece of sheer brilliance! This album radiates the heart’s desire to have the best things in life…be it the things that money can’t buy. Thank you for the sneak peek into your precious love triangle and for this amazing journey that is Labor of Love…and it has only just begun.

Have to say, I was initially dubious about the project. There was clearly a potential for kitsch and “me generation” self-absorption, but the project as executed soars above those perils; it is beauty and love and light. The music speaks to my heart as a mother, as a daughter, and it will speak to any woman (or man) who is involved in the nurturing of life, and to any child who is lucky enough to be enveloped in this music as (s)he grows.
If an album could receive a standing ovation, “Labor of Love” would richly deserve it.

The songs are soothing and make me think and feel. It makes me think about my mum who died of cancer last August and what she ment to me and what I meant to her:-). It makes me feel happy for all the women out there who have experienced being a mum and sad for all of us who never will.

I only bought one copy of the CD as a way to contribute to the Kickstarter program. However, after my first listen, I am now in the process of ordering 3 more. My daughter, daughter in-law (both recent moms) and my best friend with 5 children will love it! “4th of July” gave me chills, then minutes later I was laughing out loud to “Fierce Mama!” And, “I Get It Now” pretty much says it all! Congratualtions on a wonderful CD, Scarlett and Lee!

I was finally able to listen to the Labor of Love today and listened to it through twice. I absolutely love it, so many emotions were stirred up while listening. Angel is so beautiful and 4th of July made me cry. Fierce Mama is so much fun, I kept saying “you go girl”. I Get It Now also made me cry, made me think of my Mom who passed away from cancer 4 years ago. Our girls are grown but this CD brought so many memories back of when they were born and I really enjoyed it. I think this CD would be a great gift at a baby shower. Thank you for sharing your talent with us!

As a Mum of two beautiful sons who are are now 22 and 28 I can truly identify with this album. Children are a Labor of Love and a gift from God.Asked what was my favourite song on the album…..I just can’t choose….from Scarletts beautiful soft vocals on Little Buttefly to the soaring funky Never Knew Love it’s a marvel and 4th of July is true love story.Love the ”country twang” on Everything…..I suppose pushed to make a decision I would say Little Village is one that will be on repeat.

Just a word about the CD case….LUSCIOUS…. love the vintage vibe of it and thanks so much for the beautiful photos of your little treasure.

May all three of you always be blessed and I love y’all xo

I’m so glad I found this CD. I’ve listened to it so many times and I gifted my 8-months-pregnant friend with it for Mother’s Day. The emotion of deep motherlove is such a powerful, universal force. My baby is almost 17 years old, stands a foot taller than me, and I made “Angel” his ringtone because it makes me cry, brings me back to a place of unconditional love and tenderness for him (a vital head space to get into when your teenager calls) , and because, well… he will always and forever be my baby.

Blessings on the Cherry family….thank you for sharing this beautiful gift with us all.

I received “Labor of Love” as a gift from a true-blue Glambert, who is also a friend of the Cherry’s. After burning up myiTunes App. with it, I will definitely be ordering 3 more copies: one for my car CD, one for my daughter-in-law (due to birth my 2nd grandchild any minute!) and one for my girlfriend due in August. I can’t think of a track on this incredibly moving labor-of-love that doesn’t move me to tears or joy!!!
